Raintree Application Server (RTAS)

The Raintree Application Server (RTAS) is an industrial quality Windows NT Server that was designed and built for the most demanding industrial and commercial applications.  Windows NT is widely recognized as the premier operating system for mission critical business applications. RTAS allows you to utilize Raintree Software in the Windows NT environment with improved speed, reliability and greater system capabilities.

With RTAS you system will run 5 to 10 times faster. A report that would usually take one hour to generate will only take 5 to 10 minutes.
 
RTAS will make your system much more reliable. In the past, NT networks have lacked a critical capability called "Transaction Tracking" that has been a standard with Novell and Unix operating systems. Transaction Tracking is the ability to retrieve data that was in use prior to the occurrence of a user or system error. RTAS allows Raintree Software to implement this feature on a Windows NT server.
 
RTAS will eliminate the loss of valuable information by significantly reducing computer "down time" due to data corruption or file repair.
 
With RTAS you have the ability to monitor and manage Raintree Software from a local or remote workstation. This feature gives you a complete overview what task each user is currently performing. You can see exactly what appears on their screens as users enter information. You can also monitor multiple screens or users, all at the same time.
 
RTAS makes remote access much easier, without adding additional computer hardware. RTAS functions in what is called a thin client environment. This means that you can access Raintree Software from remote clinics, at home, or virtually anywhere that you have a telephone or Internet connection. With RTAS any number of users can simultaneously access your server via direct dial modem or a single Internet connection.
 
With RTAS and Windows NT you can now use your file server as a workstation. This completely eliminates having to purchase another workstation. This is only possible with RTAS.
