Electronic Billing enables Health Care providers to send their bills to the insurance companies through a modem. Typically this can change the average time to receive payment from the insurance companies from 30 - 45 days to 7-10 days. This module eliminates the paper and mailing costs associated with submitting insurance claims on paper.

Appointment Manager enables a Health Care provider to keep track of all appointments and patient recall. Appointments and recall can be tracked by patient, doctor, type, and location. Appointments can be viewed in a column format by daily and weekly selections and can also be color coded. The appointment Manager can be utilized as a command center for an entire clinic.

Chart Notes & History module addresses the Health Care demand for patient notes and history tracking, and quantifiable progress tracking, to deliver information to insurance companies and attorneys. As more and more insurance companies require "background justification" in the form of patient chart notes, SMG has satisfied this demand by offering this noting system. This system not only integrates with RPM, but also allows the user to create their own boilerplate for input of patient chart notes.

This module has been designed for use by a wide variety of doctors and clinicians including: podiatrists, chiropractors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, pathologists and psychologists. It can be applied to other Health Care professions. Chart Notes & History eliminates the time and overhead costs normally spent on dictation and transcription, while providing instant access to all patient notes and history information.

Collection Worksheet module solves many of the tedious and time-consuming problems of insurance and patient collections. By utilizing the Collection Worksheet, you have complete visual access to all receivables aging information, without printing it, and can link to all patient accounts with only one keystroke. This module also features an automatic daily to-do-list of all selected patient accounts that require time sensitive follow-up.

Management Summary Reports is a tool to summarize the quarterly and year-to-date financial totals. These reports provide a quick view of the status of any Health Care organization. Reports are categorized by patient visits, new patients, charges, payments, credits, debits, receivables, insurance bills and patient statements.

Graphics Interface is an option for Management Summary Reports that allows the user to view the reports in a wide variety of color graphic reports. Typically, clinic managers and doctors do not have the time required to analyze in-depth text reports. They need a quick and easy way to view financial information. Document Imaging Manager allows any Health Care organization or insurance company to create the paperless office by offering a low-cost solution to paper document storage. To their knowledge, SMG is currently the only company offering document image scanning that integrates with a full-featured practice management system. This hardware and software system stores virtually all paper-oriented patient information, on a CD ROM or optical disk and eliminates forever the patient paper trail. Information in a paper format is scanned into a computer using a document image scanner. The user has instant access to all information on any given patient without having to leave the computer. Bar Code Manager enables a Health Care provider to use a bar-code scanner to scan in the specific medical diagnoses and procedures performed on an individual patient. This is accomplished by scanning the bar-codes from a list which includes all of the possible diagnoses and procedures. This process saves time and guarantees accuracy.

Network E-Mail is an option which enables SMG software users to communicate with each other, through their computer local area network without leaving their current operating environment. With this module you can leave messages for individual and groups on your RPM system
